A classic bentwood swivel office chair model 5501 by ZPM Radomsko for Thonet, dating to the mid 20th Century.
Elegantly styled with a caned bentwood backrest and scrolled arms. The adjustable caned seat raised on a turned pedestal terminating with four swept bentwood supports.
The chair can be turned in a circular motion to raise or lower the seat height.
The wood has a darkly lacquered finish which is remarkably good condition for its age.
The underside of the seat has a partial makers label for ZPM Ramomsko, a prominent factory in Poland where many Thonet pieces were produced.
CONDITION
In very good original condition with minor marks of age and use.
