Vintage Singer Machinists Chair

A restored vintage machinists chair by Singer dating to the mid 20th century.

The chair is simply styled with a bentwood ply seat and backrest. The seat curves gently at the front and the backrest is shaped to fit your back.

The adjustable metal base is set on four splayed supports, the chair can be turned in a circular motion to raise or lower the seat height.

The backrest is stamped with the Singer makers stamp.

CONDITION

In good restored condition. There was some damage to the plywood which has been repaired.

The base has been left in original condition and shows signs of age.

seat height- 40cms at its lowest setting, rising to 46cms when raised

back rest height- 76cms when at its lowest setting

seat width- 39.5cms

seat depth- 41cms

depth front to back- 50cms
