Victorian Pine Kitchen Dresser with Open Plate Rack
Victorian Pine Kitchen Dresser with Open Plate Rack
A beautifully characterful and rustic Victorian two part country pine dresser dating to the 19th century.
Made from solid pine and pitch pine the dresser is fairly heavy and solid and will make a useful addition to a kitchen or dining room.
The dresser base has double panelled doors which open to reveal a single removable shelf which is a later replacement.
The top section has open shelves with beading near the back to display plates or pictures and is finished at the top with a decorative apron.
The wood has a waxed finish which has a mid sheen and a lovely patina of age from years of being polished.

Condition
The dresser is generally in solid structural condition with many cosmetic marks of age and use.
The cupboard doors have worn over the years, their closure is a bit gappy and is quite rustic to say the least!
The cupboard shelf is a later replacement, made to look thicker at the front than it actually is.
The front left hand foot has suffered damage and has a chink of wood missing.
Please take a look at all of the photos to get an idea of its general condition.
