Victorian Carved Oak Window Seat Bench c.1880 Antique Hall Bench

An elegantly carved two seater Victorian window bench dating to c1880, a good example of 19th Century English oak furniture

Made of carved oak it has a narrow top to seat two, shaped hand-rests and carved legs.

The rich, dark oak patina has developed well over time, highlighting the depth of the carving and the natural wood grain.

Ideal for use as a hall bench or window seat, a good statement piece for a period interior.

Its compact proportions make it equally suited to entrance halls, landing spaces, dining rooms, studies and living areas.

This piece has been sympathetically restored in our workshop.

CONDITION

In good restored condition, retaining its historical age and patina.
