An elegant and useful display cabinet dating to the late 20th or early 21st Century.
The cabinet is very well made from solid wood and is one solid piece. It is tall but not especially wide and is ideally suited for use in an alcove. The top is glazed on three sides and has two lockable doors which open to reveal two adjustable shelves set before a mirrored back plate. The shelves are inset with fabric, these could be easily changed if desired. The base section is fitted with four narrow drawers set over a two door cupboard which houses a single shelf and the base is set on low feet. The wood has a mid sheen polished finished and has a lot of character with various intentional marks done during the manufacturing process.
CONDITION
The cabinet is in solid structural condition with various minor cosmetic marks of age and use. The mirrored back plate has a black line type mark to it near the bottom, I can't photograph this as it's not really showing up.
MEASUREMENTS height-190cms width- 101cms depth- 39cms shelf heights in upper glazed section as shown, top 28cms, 2nd 27cms, 3rd 32cms shelf depth 30cms base cupboard measures 60cms high with the shelf out x 89cm wide x 29cm deep
The measurements are taken at the widest points and the cabinet is one solid piece.
