This is an unusual small antique cabinet which dates to the Edwardian era.
The cabinet is made of solid mahogany and is fairly heavy despite its size.
It appears to have been once used in a shop for displaying something on the counter, when we found it there where no shelves, simply an open space with a mirrored back.
We added small wooden batons and four small removable wooden shelves and used it for a long time in our cottage as a herb cabinet.
The wood has a wax polished finish which has a mid sheen.
CONDITION
This piece is in solid structural condition with many small marks of age and use.
There is a small area of damage to the base plinth.
