A handmade antique oak sideboard by Harrison Gibson of Ilford.
The sideboard dates to the first quarter of the 20th century and is very solid, heavy and well made.
The front is fitted with arcaded doors fitted with heavy iron hinges and wooden toggles. Each door opens to reveal a fixed shelf and the right hand door has a makers label to the top.
The doors flank two ornately carved drawers and the base is set on bulbous supports surrounded by wooden stretchers.
The wood has a wax polished finish.
Superbly made and in very good original condition.
