A useful large storage basket dating to the mid 20th Century. This basket would have once been used for transporting linens to an industrial laundry and bears the printed name of 'Forest Gate' to the front. The basket has a lift up lid with two black straps to keep it closed. It could be used as a blanket box at the foot of a bed or perhaps a toy chest in a nursery.

In generally solid structural condition with various marks of age and use including various old inactive wood worm holes which we have treated as a precaution.
