superb Gordon Russell sideboard dating to the 1960s, originally retailed by Heals.
This piece showcases the clean lines, exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design for which Gordon Russell furniture is renowned.
Beautifully constructed in richly figured walnut, the piece features a practical arrangement of two cupboard compartments flanking three central drawers. The striking grain pattern across the cupboard doors adds visual interest while retaining the understated elegance associated with British modern design.
Raised on slender tapering legs, the sideboard has a light and refined appearance despite its generous storage capacity. Its versatile proportions make it ideal as a sideboard, drinks cabinet, media unit or statement storage piece within contemporary, Scandinavian, mid-century modern or minimalist interiors.
The quality of craftsmanship is evident throughout, with carefully selected timbers, well-balanced proportions and thoughtful detailing.
