A charming small antique music chest dating to the early 20th century. Made from mahogany and mixed woods the chest is solid and well made and will make a useful addition to any room. The chest is fitted with four fall front drawers which are finished with decorative metal drop handles. Each drawer can be pulled open before the front drops down for ease of access. The drawers are set above a small cupboard and the top of the cabinet is finished with a small backplate. It is perfect for storing sheet music or could also be used is an office for storing paperwork and stationery. We have hand painted this piece in a lovely orange eggshell paint, the colour is comparable to Little Green's 'Heat'. The finish has been lightly distressed and then darkly waxed to add depth and character.

Condition
The cabinet is generally in solid structural condition with various small cosmetic marks of age and use.
