This is a useful antique book cabinet which dates to the early 20th century.
Made of solid oak this piece is solid, heavy and well-made and is perfect for use as a bookcase or for displaying decorative items.
The cabinet has a shaped top and a single wide drawer set over a recessed shelf area which is fitted with a single adjustable shelf set onto ring supports. To the bottom is a two door cupboard offering discreet storage space.
The dark and outdated finish has been stripped back to reveal the natural wood and then finished with wax.
It has a smooth, matt looking finish.

In restored solid condition with minor marks of age and use.
