This is a useful antique table which dates to the early 20th Century.
Made of solid pitch pine it is very heavy and well made and has echoes of the Arts and Crafts era in its design. The table was salvaged from Lympstone Methodist Church and has an evocative ecclesiastical look which will suit a simple interior with white washed walls and rustic features.
The table is set on four heavy square legs which have chamfered edges and dowels to the top. The legs are united with simple stretchers and the table top is rectangular and finished with a moulded edge.
The table is perfect for use in any room, perhaps as a console table in a hallway or a lamp table in a lounge.
The table has a wax polished finish and the top has been treated with Osmo-oil for protection.
CONDITION
The table is in solid structural condition with various marks of age and use.
