This is an antique cello stool dating to the early 20th century.
The stool is made of stained Beech wood and is very distinctive and unusual with a sloping seat and low curved back rest.
The stool sits on tall turned legs which are supported by turned stretchers.
The seat has been newly upholstered in a thick upholstery fabric from Warwick Fabrics Legacy Kelim range, this lovely warm fabric in muted shades is called 'Tabriz Document'.
The wood has been wax polished.

In restored condition.
