This is an unusual antique cabinet which dates to the early 20th Century.
I am unsure of its origin but it has a rather French feel and is made of a type of hardwood or fruitwood similar in appearance to teak.
The cabinet is fairly narrow and is perfect for use as a shop vitrine. It is fitted with a glazed lockable door, glazed sides and internally a mirrored back and three removable glass shelves. To the top is a single drawer finished with a later brass knob.
The cabinet is raised on small block legs and the top is finished with a shaped gallery.
The wood has a wax polished finish.
CONDITION
This piece is in solid structural condition with small marks of age and use.
The drawer knob is a later replacement, you can see where a handle once sat.
