A gorgeous antique Swedish sleigh bed dating to the late Victorian era. The bed is made of solid pine and comprises a head and tail board and two beautiful sleigh shaped sides which slot together very simply with integral metal fittings. The bed is a single size and is perfect for a child's bedroom or a small guest bedroom. We are selling the frame only, so you would need to buy a mattress. The wood is very characterful with knots and old woodworm holes here and there, it has a waxed finish which has a mid sheen.
Measurements height- tail board 92cm, head board 101cm width-93cm outer edges, 82.5cm for the mattress area length-204cm total, 196cm for the mattress area
The measurements are taken at the widest points and the bed splits down for transportation.
Condition
In solid condition with many small commensurate marks of age and use including old inactive woodworm holes, etc.
