A useful antique book cabinet which dates to the early 20th century.
It is a fairly compact piece which could serve a variety of purposes, offering useful storage and display space for books and ornaments in any room. The cabinet is made from oak and oak plywood and and has two lockable leaded glass doors which open to reveal three adjustable shelves. The top of the cabinet is decorated with fretwork veneer and the bottom door panels have been stencilled with an attractive geometric design. The interior of the cabinet has been left in darkly stained oak, the exterior has been stripped back to natural wood and has a very light coating of wax.
CONDITION
The cabinet is in solid structural condition with various minor cosmetic marks of age and use.
