A restored Folding Campaign Writing Table with Banks & Rushton Locks
A restored Folding Campaign Writing Table with Banks & Rushton Locks
A superb antique campaign folding writing table dating to the late 1920s.
The table is made from oak and has a rectangular top. To the front are two small drawers with locks stamped with 'Banks & Rushton' who supplied locks to the famous Ocean liner the Mauretanea.
The table has lyre shaped supports which are strengthened by stretchers to the back, these unscrew and the legs fold closed so that the table can be easily transported.
The table was in a very poor state when we found it so has been fully restored in our workshop and is now in excellent near to original condition.
We don't have a key for the locks, the ones shown are purely ornamental.
CONDITION
The table is fully restored condition with minor marks here and there. No working key for the locks.
