A useful antique pitch pine shelf coat rack dating to the Victorian era. This lovely piece has a rustic country look and is perfect for a hallway. It is fitted with five large hooks which are set under a deep shelf and either end is carved with a sprig which has been hand coloured. The wood has a darkly waxed finish. There are two holes through the backboard to allow it to be fixed to the wall.

In solid structural condition. One of the hooks is a replacement, it is very similar but only has two screw holes instead of four.
