Antique Bookpress Table

A very well aged and well used antique bookpress table dating to the Victorian era.

The table is solid and well made, the front fitted with two drawers which are finished with ornate drop handles.

The rectangular top would have once housed a cast iron book press, the wood where is sat is heavily scarred and marked from age and use.

The table is set on tall slightly swept block legs and the wood has a wax polished finish.

CONDITION

The table is in solid structural condition. Cosmetically is is very rustic and well aged with many marks of age and use

width- 56cms at the top, 49cms at the base

depth- 39.5cms

drawers measure 8.5cms high x 35.5cms wide x 26cms deep
