This is a classic large antique bow front chest of drawers which dates to the Victorian era.
It is solid and heavy, made from mahogany and mixed woods, and is a substantial piece which will make a handsome addition to any room.
The chest is fitted with five spacious drawers which have their original blue paper lined interiors and attractive wooden handles. The chest is finished on turned feet.
We have hand painted this piece in black eggshell paint, before lightly distressing the paintwork and then protecting the finish with wax.
CONDITION
The chest is in solid structural condition with various cosmetic marks of age and use. The top has some dents and marks below the painted finish and one of the handles has been repaired.
