An elegant part-show salon sofa dating to the 19th Century.
The sofa is framed in ebonised mahogany and has a curved back and ornately turned legs terminating in castors. This piece, dating to the Aesthetic movement period, is beautifully proportioned to suit either a lounge or bedroom. The deeply sprung seat is comfortable and will easily seat two people.
The sofa has been professionally restored, both structurally and externally and is newly upholstered in a beautiful printed velvet designed by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, the pattern is called 'Queen of the Night', the colour is Ashlar.
The fabric is soft and luxurious and has a mid-sheen.
