There are few things that mark the turning of the seasons quite like a proper village Mayfair, and Denbury's annual celebration did not disappoint this year.
Denbury Mayfair is a much-loved tradition in our village, bringing the community together each year to celebrate with music, dancing and an assortment of activities and interesting stalls.
This year I was delighted to be on a stall promoting the new Denbury Community Shop — an exciting venture for the village that we're all very proud of. It was a brilliant opportunity to spread the word and update people as to our progress. It won't be long now until the months of planning start to get actioned and the alterations to the hall get started to create a welcoming space for everyone.
The Mayfair is a reminder of why these local traditions matter — they bring people together, support local initiatives, and celebrate the very best of village life. If you haven't visited Denbury, it really is a gem of a Devon village.
