This is a handsome antique style pedestal desk which dates to the late 20th century.

It has a nautical look which will suit a quaint seaside home or contemporary setting.

The desk is well made from solid pine and is fairly large and heavy but has the benefit of splitting into three parts.

The desk has twin pedestals each housing three graduated drawers which are all finished with turned pine knobs. The pedestals are set under a large desk top which houses a further three spacious drawers.

I have hand painted the desk in a beautiful pale blue before lightly distressing and aging the finish for a windswept nautical look.

The finish is very matt and quite smooth.

CONDITION

The desk is in solid structural condition with various cosmetic marks of age and use.

There are some marks to the top and a couple of knots and natural dents in the wood.

The drawer interiors are in clean condition.
