This is a handsome antique chest of drawers which dates to the early 20th century.
It is a practical piece which is perfect for use in a bedroom, offering plenty of storage space for any home. The chest is very well made from solid oak and mixed woods and is solid and heavy. When we found it the outdated finish was very dark and marked, this has been stripped away to reveal the natural oak before being waxed for a smooth finish. The front is fitted with five spacious drawers which open to reveal very clean interiors. All the locks are present but the key only works in a few and is more for ornamental use. The chest is set on small block feet and the wood has a natural matt looking waxed finish.
CONDITION
The chest is in very good restored condition.
