Antique Raw Wood Dresser Display Cabinet

  • £695.00

This is a rustic looking antique dresser which dates to the end of the 19th century.

Made of pine the dresser is fairly tall but not particularly heavy and will make a useful display piece in any home. It splits into two parts which makes it easy to transport and place in any home.

The base cabinet has two glazed doors which open to reveal a single fixed shelf. The doors are set under two drawers which are finished with Art Nouveau style aged metal handles.

The top section of the dresser is a shallow glazed cabinet finished with graduated cornicing. The interior has a panelled back and fixed shelves with beading to display plates and china.

The wood to the exterior has been stripped free of the outdated dark varnish and left in a natural 'raw wood' finish which gives it a rustic country look.

The interior of the top cabinet has a nicely varnished finish.

This piece is in solid structural condition with various marks of age and use.

There are some scratches and marks to the interior and a few old wood worm holes to one side panel. The front right hand corner of the base section has a small area of damage.
